Bishop Thomas Tobin Warns Catholics Against Attending Gay Weddings

Thomas Tobin, the Bishop of Providence, Rhode Island, has warned Roman Catholics to think “very carefully” before attending a gay wedding.
Tobin made his remarks shortly before the Rhode Island House gave its final approval to a marriage bill and independent Governor Lincoln Chafee signed it into law.
“At this moment of cultural change, it is important to affirm the teaching of the Church, based on God’s word, that 'homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered,' (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #2357) and always sinful. And because 'same-sex marriages' are clearly contrary to God's plan for the human family, and therefore objectively sinful, Catholics should examine their consciences very carefully before deciding whether or not to endorse same-sex relationships or attend same-sex ceremonies, realizing that to do so might harm their relationship with God and cause significant scandal to others,” Tobin wrote in a pastoral letter to the faithful released Thursday.
“The Catholic Church has fought very hard to oppose this immoral and unnecessary proposition, and we are most grateful to all those who have courageously joined us in this effort,” he added.
Rhode Island is one of the most Catholic states in the nation.

I'm fairly certain Thomas Tobin will be smoking a turd in purgatory.
What a piece of work this fucktard is.
